This wine is rich, dark cherry in colour with purple hues with complex layered flavours of berries, dried fruit, toasted oak, prunes and cigar box!  The nose offers a complex, bouquet of fruit and spice, with blackcurrant, enhanced by toasty cigar box nuances produced by oak maturation. The palate is a highlight of the wine exhibiting bright black cherry, balanced by a leathery earthiness with fine tannins.
